If you are dreaming of a wedding that feels less like a frantic four-hour event and more like a relaxed getaway, a weekend buyout at Wrenwood Ranch in the Texas Hill Country is the move.
By spreading your setup and celebration over two days, you actually get to enjoy the people you invited. Here is a sample timeline to help you navigate your Friday-to-Saturday ranch wedding.
Friday: The Setup & Settling In
The beauty of Friday is getting the "work" out of the way early so Saturday can be pure magic.
10:00 PM | The Arrival: Arrive at Wrenwood Ranch to begin unloading your personal decor, signage, and centerpieces.
3:00 PM | Cottage Check in for Weekend Arrivals: As you check into the on-site cottages, your family and friends can join you in the hall. Use this 3-hour window to style the space exactly how you imagined it.
5:30 PM | The Rehearsal: Walk through the ceremony under the oaks. This is the time to work out the kinks in the processional before the "I Dos."
6:00 PM | Rehearsal Dinner or Close Up & Unwind: Lock up the venue for the night. Since you’re already on-site, host a casual pizza night or BBQ outside the cottages. No driving required!

Saturday: The Main Event
Because you did the heavy lifting on Friday, you get to wake up in the Hill Country and actually relax.
10:00 AM | Slow Morning & Glam
2:00 PM | The "Details" Photos
3:30 PM | Portraits & First Look:

Why the Weekend Model Works
