When Keisha and Chad Watkins first stepped onto that raw piece of land in May 2020, there was no power, No Septic and No Water. Just 14 acres of raw land in the Texas Hill Country. One thing they did have is a dream big enough to make up for what they didn’t have.
Chad and Keisha moved into a 200-square-foot travel trailer—two people, one dog, a bathroom—and they got to work. Not the kind of work that comes with instructions. The kind that starts at sunrise, ends after Sunset and fills every minute of your day. They built cottages, built fences, dug trenches, moved rock rock to create Wrenwood Ranch
But this story isn’t about struggle.
They weren’t chasing luxury for luxury’s sake. They were building a place where people could breathe—where friends and families could slow down, gather under the stars, and wake up to quiet mornings and coffee on the porch.

Today, Wrenwood Ranch is a collection of modern cottages and a brand-new wedding and event venue. Each cottage was thoughtfully designed to reflect the land it sits on and the love that built it.

Guests come for the Wineries, Distilleries, Parks, the hiking, and wide-open spaces. But they leave with something much more. But what you’re really getting is a place to exhale, reconnect and remember what matters. We built Wrenwood Ranch so you could make memories here. Were are a family run business.
When you stay at Wrenwood Ranch, you’re not just booking a place to sleep. You’re stepping into something we poured our hearts into—piece by piece, nail by nail.

We built this ranch with our own hands. What started as raw land, a trailer, and a whole lot of prayer.
Every cottage has its own story, its own little view, its own front porch made for watching the sun dip below the trees. We chose everything with care—from the bedding to the paint colors—so you’d feel both cared for and completely free to just be.

You’ll wake up to birds singing and a slight breeze. Maybe spend your day sipping wine at a nearby vineyard or hiking through one of the Hill Country’s hidden gems. And when you come back? You’ll have a cozy place waiting, tucked under the stars.
But what you’re really getting is a place to exhale, reconnect and remember what matters. We built Wrenwood Ranch so you could make memories here.
